Thank you for everything, Mississippi State football’s 2018 senior class
By Ethan Lee
For all of the sacrifices and for every single win, thank you, Mississippi State football’s 2018 senior class. You’ve done a lot to help shape this program and, as fans, we are grateful for what you’ve done while wearing Maroon and White.
There’s 20 seniors listed on the Mississippi State football team’s roster. This group of 20 players has stuck with the Bulldogs through everything and will play their final game in Davis Wade Stadium this Saturday against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
To this group of seniors, thank you for everything that you’ve done for the Mississippi State football program and all that you’ve accomplished.
Not all of you started your careers with MSU. Some of you arrived in Starkville through a transfer from a community college. Regardless of how you came to join the Mississippi State football team, you are part of this program’s history and will be remembered for what you’ve done for this team.
Not all of you were starters or scholarship players. Some of you sacrificed other opportunities and still put everything you had out there for the chance to play for the Bulldogs. Regardless of how much playing time you got, you were part of helping this program move forward and becoming better.
There’s been plenty of criticism that many of you have faced over the years. Sometimes that criticism from fans went too far and you had to deal with it. Thank you for taking it in stride and still giving MSU everything you had.
Mississippi State football fans have seen all sorts of success and have been able to enjoy countless great memories thanks to your hard work and dedication.
