Mississippi State football breaks out white uniforms against Alabama

The Mississippi State football team is donning white uniforms for its road game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

We’ve got Mississippi State football uniform news! Earlier today, the Bulldogs announced which uniforms they’re taking to Tuscaloosa, Alabama this weekend!

When the Mississippi State Bulldogs enter into Bryant-Denny Stadium, they’re going to be wearing some familiar threads Saturday afternoon. Against the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Mississippi State football team will be decked out in white uniforms. From the helmet down to the pants, the Bulldogs will be clad in white with maroon accents all over the uniform for the second time this season.

The last time that we saw this uniform combination this season, the Mississippi State football team hiked on up to Manhattan, Kansas for a game with Bill Snyder’s Kansas State Wildcats. That game went well for the Bulldogs and the  uniforms looked pretty good as well. Mississippi State was able to come away with a 31-10 win over Kansas State earlier this season.

MSU has to be hoping that this weekend pans out something like that one did. Another win in these white uniforms would be incredible, but it’s completely unreasonable to think that the Bulldogs will come away from this game with a 31-10 win over Alabama. The Bulldogs simply being able to win is unlikely as it is and there’s no reasonable cause to think that MSU could win by three touchdowns.

All of that said, maybe a miracle can happen? The Bulldogs are technically undefeated when they’re wearing white uniforms in 2018. Just, you know, don’t expect that incredibly specific stat to remain true after Saturday afternoon.
