Joe Moorhead’s game plan was aggressive and it paid off.

The head coach of the Bulldogs finally came alive and it was a blast to watch. After MSU scored the first touchdown of the game, Joe Moorhead was seen celebrating with his team on the sidelines. But that happiness wasn’t the only energy that Moorhead had against Texas A&M. Moorhead was fired up throughout the game and that aggressiveness spilled over onto the football field in Moorhead’s game plan.

Instead of following conventional wisdom and continuing to try and run the ball, Joe Moorhead had his offense come out firing and throwing the ball all over the field.

It worked.

Nick Fitzgerald thrived in the offense that MSU utilized last night and had what was one of the cleanest performances in his career. Fitz played error free football last night and found success through the air for the Bulldogs’ offense. If Moorhead can continue to coach with that energy and attack opposing defenses, MSU has a great shot of ending the regular season with 8 wins.
