When the betting line opened up, the Mississippi State Bulldogs came out as a field goal favorite over Texas A&M for this week’s game against Texas A&M. Since then, the point spread has shrunk considerably.

According to oddsshark.com, MSU opened up as a three point favorite across the board. But, as the week has worn on, that point spread now sits at 1.5 points in most books and is as low as 1 point in several others. Right now, the total sits at 44 points and most people are taking the under on that one.

When it comes to betting, this game is as close to even as it could be.

There are two factors working in Mississippi State’s favor for this game. The Bulldogs have one of the best defenses in the country and this game is being played in Starkville, Mississippi. That’s about all that MSU has going for it right now.
