The Mississippi State football team will be playing under the lights once again when they take on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on November 3rd.

For those who don’t like it when the Mississippi State football team plays early in the morning, those people can at least say one thing for the 2018 season has gone well. The Bulldogs have played every game except for one at night in 2018.

This trend will continue as the game time and broadcast information for the Mississippi State football game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs was announced. The Bulldogs will welcome Louisiana Tech to Starkville and Davis Wade Stadium on November 3rd for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.

Here is the tweet from the official account of the Southeastern Conference giving the necessary info.

Many like myself assumed when the Mississippi State football team took on Louisiana Tech on November 3rd, the game would be heading to an 11:00 a.m. kickoff. But with Alabama and LSU being the one game a year CBS opts to save for prime time, the networks are probably wanting the least attractive match up to be across from it on another network.

And as a result, the Mississippi State football game against Louisiana Tech will be a night game like every other one with the lone exception being the game during week 2 of the College Football Season against the Kansas State Wildcats.

There are only two more games where the start time still has to be announced. The game against Alabama could very well be at night, but who knows when the Arkansas game will be played.

So, if you like night games, then at least that is the one thing that has gone right for you during the 2018 Mississippi State college football season. The rest of it hasn’t been quite what many of us thought it would be.
