Can the Bulldogs slow down LSU’s running attack?

The LSU Tigers boast a pretty potent rushing attack. That’s not something that really should surprise anyone. In fact, that’s pretty much the norm for LSU. The fact that the Tigers can run the ball pretty well is not a shocker here.

Up to this point this season, the Tigers are running for 202.1 yards per game and are getting 4.7 yards per carry. LSU is scoring 2.6 rushing touchdowns per game. All-in-all, that’s a good running attack.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs have a defense that should be able to slow that down though. MSU’s defense is legit and the front seven is truly great. So far, Mississippi State is holding its opponents to 3.4 yards per carry and a grand total of 115.5 rushing yards per game.

MSU’s run defense is good and it’s going to meet up against a solid LSU running offense. Which team will win this battle in the trenches?
