How Jarrett Stidham performs against Mississippi State’s pass defense

The Mississippi State football team has been incredibly disciplined up front and has been able to cause plenty of issues for opposing quarterbacks this season. The Bulldogs are hard to match up with in the trenches. Because of that, MSU’s secondary has also played well this season.

The Bulldogs are holding opposing quarterbacks to 166.4 passing yards per game and a completion percentage of 56.5 percent. While the Bulldogs haven’t exactly been all that great through the air, their opponents haven’t been either.

Oh, and MSU has an interception per game this season.

That bodes well for Mississippi State’s defense in this game as Jarrett Stidham hasn’t been electrifying through the air this year. Through five games, Stidham has completed 82 of his 130 passes and has 5 touchdowns against 2 interceptions.

State should fair well against Stidham and Auburn’s passing attack.
