Mississippi State’s defensive line against Auburn’s offensive line

Thankfully, the Auburn Tigers aren’t the only bunch with a talented defensive line. The Mississippi State football team has plenty of talent up front and it could play a big role in this game. Also of note here, the Bulldogs aren’t the only team in this game that has had issues with its offensive line. Auburn has as well.

That means that Gerri Green, Chauncey Rivers, Jeffery Simmons, Montez Sweat, Braxton Hoyett, and everyone else up front will have opportunities to make some big plays against the Tigers. There’s a good chance that this group could get after Jarrett Stidham several times in this game.

According to www.AuburnTigers.com, Stidham has been sacked 10 times through the first 5 games of this season. 7 of those sacks have come in the past couple of weeks. The last 2 opponents that the Tigers have faced were the Arkansas Razorbacks and then the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
