Mississippi State’s struggling offensive line against Auburn’s defensive ends

During the past couple of weeks, Mississippi State’s offensive line was beaten and worn down against both the Kentucky Wildcats and the Florida Gators. As a result, Nick Fitzgerald was sacked a total of 9 times in the two games, 3 times by Kentucky and 6 times by Florida.

And the Auburn Tigers are bringing a pretty good defensive front with them as well. So far during the 2018 college football season, the Tigers have racked up 14 sacks against their opponents. That’s just under 3 sacks a game.

Hopefully Fitzgerald won’t be running for his life this Saturday. Unfortunately, this is a thing that Mississippi State football fans will need to keep an eye on this weekend. The Bulldogs were supposed to have a pretty good offensive front this season. The past two weeks, that front has been beaten on plenty of occasions.
