Mississippi State football: Five first half thoughts on leading Dan Mullen and Florida

We’ve got some thoughts on the Mississippi State football team holding a lead over the Florida Gators in the first half
The Mississippi State football team played a solid first half of football against Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators. The Bulldogs minimized their errors, made a couple of solid plays to move the ball down the field, and have played efficiently so far.
Things could be better though. There’s no doubting that.
Right now, at halftime, the Mississippi State football team only holds a 6-3 lead over Mullen and the Florida Gators. Joe Moorhead’s supposedly explosive offense hasn’t seemed all that explosive in the first half against Florida’s defense.
The Gators, to their credit, have done a pretty good job of getting after Nick Fitzgerald and roughing up Mississippi State’s offensive line with physical play. The Bulldogs have honestly run the ball really well, but the Gators are playing tough football up front to challenge the Bulldogs at their strength.
