Check out Mississippi State football uniforms for Florida game

Here’s the uniforms that the Mississippi State football team will be wearing when they battle Florida this evening
Another week of Mississippi State football, another uniform combination to talk about before the game tonight. The Mississippi State Bulldogs are going to face Dan Mullen and his Florida Gators football team this evening.
When they do so, the Bulldogs will be wearing another new uniform combination.
For this week’s game against the Florida Gators, the Mississippi State football team is breaking out matte maroon helmets along with maroon jerseys, and then gray pants to complete the uniform.
As with all of their uniforms, the Bulldogs tweeted out a video to showcase what they’ll be wearing. From the official Mississippi State football account, @HailStateFb, check out that video right here:
This game is a rather important one for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Last week against Kentucky, the Bulldogs fell short and dropped the game in humbling, or rather humiliating, fashion. Now, the best way to bounce back from that loss would be for MSU to come out and beat the Florida Gators at home.
Beating Florida also bring the benefit of beating Mullen, the former head coach of the Mississippi State football team.
As the Bulldogs get ready for all of that, they’re going with a rather simple and somewhat standard uniform for this game. There are some subtle differences to the standard look for MSU.
The gray pants that MSU has been wearing for some time now has become increasingly common and will be thrown in. It’s a nice touch that changes things up a bit. No, they’re not brand new, but it is something that isn’t the historical maroon and white for Mississippi State.
The Bulldogs’ play against Florida this evening. Assuming that you won’t actually be there in this sellout, the game will be shown on ESPN. Kickoff is at 5:00 PM Central Time.
