Each week of the 2018 football season, you can check back here for your weekly update to the SEC Power Rankings.

Three weeks are completed in the 2018 college football season. And things are shaking up a little bit in the SEC Power Rankings.

SEC teams are starting to play each other, and as a result, we’re starting to see teams for what they really are. Auburn versus LSU was the big game, and Alabama flexed their muscles again.

So without further adieu, here are the SEC Power Rankings for Week 4.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide (3-0, Last Week: #1)

The Crimson Tide gave up a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage. That made them mad at Ole Miss and they ran off 62 straight points on the Rebels.

2. Georgia Bulldogs (3-0, Last Week: #4)

Georgia has been good, and they stay at the number two spot in the SEC Power Rankings.

3. LSU Tigers (3-0, Last Week: #4)

I’m still not convinced LSU is all that great. They can play great defense, but their offense leaves a lot to be desired. The formula seems to be don’t turn the ball over and give them good field position. Auburn and Miami couldn’t do that.

4. Mississippi State Bulldogs (3-0, Last Week: #5)

The Bulldogs look great both offensively and defensively. How much is it them or their schedule we shall find out in the next few weeks.

5. Auburn Tigers (2-1, Last Week: #3)

Auburn has serious issues with their offensive line. They can’t really run the ball like they’re accustomed to, and they have a hard time protecting Jarrett Stidham. The defense is spectacular, but can they score enough points to win?

6. Texas A&M Aggies (2-1, Last Week: #6)

Will the great performance in the loss against Clemson prove to be a sign of a team on the verge of great things or a flash in the pan? We’ll find out during the final week of September.

7. Kentucky Wildcats (3-0, Last Week: #8)

If the Wildcats can spring the upset of Mississippi State, they’ll prove they’re for real. Until then, we have to hold off.

8. Missouri Tigers (3-0, Last Week: #9)

Purdue might not be great, but getting a win on the road against a Power 5 team is always a good win.

9. Vanderbilt Commodores (2-1, Last Week: #10)

Vandy gave the Irish all they could handle in South Bend. This team might be sneaky good this year.

10. South Carolina Gamecocks (1-1, Last Week: #11)

The game against Marshall was canceled, so we don’t know much more about South Carolina than we already did.

11. Ole Miss Rebels (2-1, Last Week: #7)

The offense is great, but they have to at least be able to play some defense. I know Alabama is a lot better on offense than what they usually are, but they made the Ole Miss defense look like a middle school defense.

12. Florida Gators (1-1, Last Week: #12)

The Gators still have lots of questions about their offense. Will they find enough answers to get the wins the Gator fans require of their football team?

13. Tennessee Volunteers (2-1, Last Week: #13)

They won, but they couldn’t even score 30 points on arguably the worst team in the country.

14. Arkansas Razorbacks (1-2, Last Week: #14)

Arkansas solidified their spot as the worst team in the SEC this past Saturday by following up their loss to Colorado State with a blowout home loss to North Texas. Yeesh.

That wraps up the fourth edition of the SEC Power Rankings. Check back next week to see how much change there is after the first set of games.
