Five first half thoughts on Mississippi State football vs Louisiana-Lafayette

And yeah, Mississippi State’s rushing offense is still very, very good

Nick Fitzgerald isn’t just getting it done through the air. As a whole the entirety of Mississippi State’s running offense is still moving the ball very well, but Fitzgerald is getting the bulk of MSU’s ground production so far.

With a dozen rushing attempts for 87 yards and two touchdowns, it’s certain that MSU is going to be able to run the ball very well this season, just as they have the past two seasons. And it looks like Fitzgerald will be at the center of all of that.

Add in Aeris Williams and Kylin Hill trading turns and gaining yards by the dozen, MSU’s rushing attack is going to be a very dangerous one all year.
