Errol Thompson made an incredible interception to stifle Kansas State’s offense when the Bulldogs absolutely needed a big play

Errol Thompson’s interception silenced Kansas State’s offense when the Wildcats were driving. The Bulldogs definitely needed a big play to push momentum in their favor and keep K-State from evening the game up at 10-10. Thompson’s play did just that.

When the Wildcats were moving down the field and switched up their quarterback situation, Errol Thompson stifled the opposing offense and halted their drive with a beautiful diving interception. That allowed for MSU to come down the field again and score a touchdown to extend the lead out to 17-3.

Next. MSU's fumble should have stood. dark

The Mississippi State football team will need to continue to push on the Wildcats. This game is clearly far from over. It’s definitely a tough matchup, but the Bulldogs are doing well so far.
