The Mississippi State football team has shown off its uniforms for the first game of the season
The Mississippi State football team will be wearing some pretty cool uniforms in 2018. In a video tweeted out by the official Mississippi State football twitter account yesterday afternoon, the Bulldogs showcased their brand new uniforms for 2018.
It’s not out of the ordinary for schools to get new uniforms before a new football season. And with the Mississippi State football team breaking in a brand new coaching staff, it makes sense that this year MSU would get an update on the uniform front.
Of course, the Bulldogs are wearing Maroon and White. Things appear to be rather normal on that front.
You can get a glimpse at what the Mississippi State football uniforms for 2018 look like right here:
Mississippi State showcased some of these helmets before the above video was posted earlier in the day.
There’s some new changes, as @HailStateUnis (a fan run account on twitter dedicated to keeping up with all of Mississippi State’s uniforms throughout the years in various sports, not just football) points out.
It’s hard to tell just what all of the changes will be. But, it’s certainly probable that there’s more changes than what we could see from just that video right there. After all, Adidas is going through several changes across the board with multiple schools.
It’s great to see that the Mississippi State football team is staying up to date with its uniforms. Expect to see them showcased a bit on the broadcast tonight when the Bulldogs take the field against the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks.
