Keytaon Thompson has the potential to make every play needed for the Bulldogs
In the first half of his second start in his career, Keytaon Thompson got things going pretty well with SEVERAL exciting touchdown plays. From a quick touchdown pass to Kylin Hill (we’ll get to him more later) to scrambling and tossing a perfect touchdown pass to Aeris Williams (we’re gonna talk about him some more too), Keytaon Thompson did just about everything MSU needed.
Joe Moorhead’s offense is certainly going to be different than Dan Mullen’s. The schemes and formations aren’t going to be exactly the same as what was used previously. However, Thompson is still a perfect fit for what Moorhead will want at quarterback and he’s proving that he can certainly utilize the entire offense for Mississippi State.
Over 200 passing yards, more than 70 rushing yards, and five total touchdowns in one half has to encourage Moorhead and his coaching staff.
