This Mississippi State football team can really be something special

The Mississippi State Bulldogs could truly be good this year. Mississippi State scored 63 points in the first game of the Joe Moorhead era, all of them via touchdowns, and kept Stephen F. Austin from scoring a single touchdown. SFA’s six points came via two field goals.

Mississippi State has a ton of exciting pieces that come together to create a very exciting team. The Mississippi State football team won’t be able to outmuscle and out talent every single team on its 2018 schedule like it did with the Lumberjacks tonight, but the Bulldogs can do it to quite a few.

And it’s possible that Joe Moorhead’s offensive schemes can make up for any possible deficits the other way outside of MSU’s favor.
