Joe Moorhead’s passing attack will probably be incredibly explosive throughout the entire year. Hopefully it’s also pretty efficient.

With Joe Moorhead’s offense, the Mississippi State football team should be expected to throw downfield more frequently. Expect more big passes and more big touchdowns. Those things just seem to happen more often in Moorhead’s offense than they did in Dan Mullen’s offense.

One thing about that right now is that Keytaon Thompson didn’t exactly have an incredibly high completion percentage.

In tonight’s game, Thompson completed 13 of 31 passes, which really isn’t all that great. However, Thompson threw for 364 yards and five touchdowns. That’s only on 13 completed passes. Expect plenty of big things through the air for MSU this year.
