Whatever happened, it’s good to see that Joe Moorhead is willing to suspend even his best players

It’s uncertain as to what happened and why Nick Fitzgerald needed to be suspended.

Regardless of cause at the moment, it’s encouraging to see that Joe Moorhead is willing to suspend anyone, and everyone, should he need to. I have no clue as to whether or not this suspension matches the offense that Fitzgerald made or the rule that he broke. I can’t comment on whether or not this suspension fits with what Fitzgerald did.

I can say that it is refreshing to see a coach suspend a star player before the first week of the college football season. As a fan and writer covering Mississippi State football, I don’t really want Fitzgerald suspended, but I’m going to trust Joe Moorhead here.
