#1 “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley

Yeah, you fell for it.

Do I really think this song would be a good way to ring in the fourth quarter? No. It’s called a “Rick Roll” and it’s a form of meme from when memes weren’t just screenshots of tweets and Tumblr posts.

Basically, you just build up suspense and then post a link to the Youtube video of this song. And for that reason, if someone hacked into the stadium sound booth and played this song over the loudspeaker instead of “Don’t Stop Believing” I would absolutely think it was the most hilarious thing ever.

This is my first time to contribute for this site and I am excited for the coming football season and the repeated opportunity to Rick Roll all of you.

Be on the look out for a weekly football preview coming from me and random hijinks throughout the coming 2018-2019 Mississippi State athletic year. Until next time Bulldog fans!
