Mississippi State Football: what song would be better than “Don’t Stop Believing”?

Which song should replace “Don’t Stop Believing” at Mississippi State football games?

In case you haven’t heard, Dan Mullen left the Mississippi State football team shortly after the Bulldogs’ 2017 Egg Bowl loss. That was several months ago. In fact, for all college football intents and purposes, it’s basically been a year.

Now, we’re going right into the 2018 college football season. That means the end of this off season. But, we have one last thing to talk about from the off season.

One of the hottest topics of this past off season was whether or not State would/should replace the song “Don’t Stop Believing” entering the fourth quarter of every home football game — a tradition that started during the Mullen era.

While the theory has since been debunked that Mullen started the tradition himself, there is still a large contingent of State fans that want to replace the song. These folks generally seem to be sourpusses and curmudgeons, happy to watch fun new traditions die.

However, I decided to create a top ten list of songs that would be great openers for the Mississippi State team’s fourth quarters.
