Maroon and White Nation’s official podcast is back. The Maroon and White Audible is here for yet another segment. During this segment, Ethan Lee talks about why the Mississippi State football team deserves more respect and the only way for the Bulldogs to get it this season.

Justin Strawn tracked down where each voter placed MSU and you can find that right here and there’s a few surprises on the list based off of previous comments made by some writers out there. It’s not that the Mississippi State football team’s ranking isn’t fair. It’s a pretty decent ranking that is just about right. The only thing is that MSU could have been ranked a bit higher. And that’s where the issue lies.

MSU has been a consistent winner over the past four seasons. Expectations and standards have been raised for the football team in Starkville. The level of success has been similarly raised right along with those expectations and standards.
