Mississippi State continues to improve its facilities for its student-athletes to improve their experience

Mississippi State University is doing everything it can to provide its athletes with the very best. Well, they’re doing everything within reason. And that includes improving the atrium of the Templeton Athletic Academic Center.

What is the Templeton Athletic Academic Center? Why did its atrium need updating?

Well, the Templeton Athletic Academic Center (try saying that five times fast) is a facility built and dedicated to providing facilities for dedicated faculty and staff that cater to the needs of student-athletes in the world of academics.

From Mississippi State’s official website about the Templeton Athletic Academic Center:

"The 34,000 square-foot building serves the entire athletic department, houses the Athletic Academics offices and staff, and includes individual computer rooms, tutor work areas, a large open study area and a 300-seat dining facility with a fully-functioning kitchen."

So, what exactly did they do?

Well, Mississippi State completely overhauled the atrium to provide an updated, welcoming entrance for the student-athletes and the faculty that work there. Each sport was represented in the new atrium with various jerseys, uniforms, banners, and displays all throughout the vast entryway.

You can even watch the video about the new atrium from Mississippi State athletics’ official twitter account right here:

Moves like this are subtle but do make a difference. Mississippi State is doing everything it can to continue to better itself in every possible way. The Bulldogs are seemingly committed excellence in its players’ endeavors on the field and off the field. Improving their experience and facilities associated with their studies will certainly do just that.
