We now know when Mississippi State’s 2018 Bulldog Bash will happen!
You like music. I like music. Mississippi State’s Bulldog Bash folks like music. Just about everyone likes music. And now, we know when we can listen to music and celebrate Bulldog Bash in Starkville.
For those that aren’t familiar with Bulldog Bash, it is a concert that is put on by the Mississippi State Student Association every fall during the beginning of football season. Over the past few years, it has been done on the Friday right before a pretty big Mississippi State football game that subsequent Saturday afternoon.
According to the official website for Bulldog Bash, it is “the largest free outdoor concert in Mississippi.
But, Bulldog Bash is more than just a concert. There’s also the Maroon Market, which is an opportunity to see the products of various local artists and stores as they set up stands in the Cotton District. There’s typically something for everyone.
Last year, Bulldog Bash was right before Mississippi State’s game against the LSU Tigers. This year, the concert will be on September 28th, the day before Mississippi State welcomes Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators back to Starkville.
The timing of this concert is set up perfectly to encourage more and more fans to come to Starkville for this weekend. The Bulldogs should have plenty of fans in town for the game alone, but the concert could certainly help to bring in a slightly larger crowd. This will be beneficial to the school and the local economy.
