Joe Moorhead needs to find a way to elevate the play of the wide receivers if the Mississippi State football team is going to take the next step forward as a program.

Dan Mullen did a lot of great things for the Mississippi State football program in his nine seasons as head coach. But one thing he could have done better was to get more production from the Wide Receiver position.

Joe Moorhead will try to get more from a unit that has produced some really good players at times, but most often, it is a unit that is a weak spot for the team. If Joe Moorhead can get more production from the Wide Receivers, the offense could be one of the most potent in the country.
