The Mississippi State football team was solidly represented on the SEC Media’s Preseason All-SEC Teams

The Mississippi State Bulldogs have a great team pieced together for a potentially great run this season. Mississippi State football has plenty of talent that is loaded up for what could be a truly great run going into the first year of the Joe Moorhead era.

During the 2018 SEC Media Days in Atlanta, the Mississippi State football team received plenty of respect. The Bulldogs were picked to be third in the SEC West and actually received a couple of votes placing them at the top of the division.

MSU even received a vote to win the entire Southeastern Conference. Which, you know, seems a bit bold.

There’s a ton of talent on this Mississippi State team and there’s plenty to be proud of. The respect that MSU received from the 2018 version of SEC Media Days didn’t just stop simply at predictions of how the team will do.

It extended over into the SEC media selections for the 2018 Preseason All-SEC Teams.

Mississippi State had a pair of players on the first team and then a trio of players on the third team. That’s a solid amount of respect. It could be better, but it could also be worse. MSU getting five players on the All-SEC teams is pretty good.

Here’s the five players who earned their spot there.
