Mississippi State Football vs Texas A&M 2017
Since Johnny Manziel left Texas A&M, the Bulldogs haven’t really had any issues with the Aggies. In fact, MSU has claimed three of four from A&M in the timeframe and has won each of their wins in pretty convincing fashion.
This past season was no different.
Mississippi State waltzed right into College Station and then exited with a dominant 35-14 win, the largest win in the series since 1912. Dan Mullen and his Mississippi State Bulldogs had no problem bulldozing through the Aggies as MSU relied on Nick Fitzgerald and Aeris Williams to run the ball right down the Aggies’ throats.
A&M’s defense had a hard time with the physical running approach that Mullen’s offense took in the game and the Aggies couldn’t do anything on offense to try and match what MSU put out there on the field.
As a result, Texas A&M’s fans cleared out of the stadium once the game was clearly decided.
Texas A&M simply had no answer. The win gave MSU an advantage in the series all time and gave MSU another win to be proud of from its most recent nine win season.
