Without anything that might resemble a doubt, this is the easiest game for the Mississippi State football team. Stephen F. Austin is a squad from the FCS that will travel up to Starkville, Mississippi from Nacogdoches, Texas, a town nestled in the Piney Woods of east Texas.

The Lumberjacks aren’t particularly good. Even for FCS teams, Stephen F. Austin hasn’t been all that noteworthy over the past few college football seasons.

Right now, in this moment, Stephen F. Austin doesn’t even have a head coach. On June 18th, Clint Conque was suspended as the head coach of the Lumberjacks football team. That probably doesn’t bode well for a team that is struggling to find anything that resembles success going into 2018.
