Kylin Hill Adds Another Level Of Dynamic Plays From The Backfield

Kylin Hill did a great job of breaking through and catching plenty of attention from Mississippi State football fans last season. Hill played mostly in a backup role, but is versatile and powerful enough to be a full time starting running back in the Southeastern Conference.

Last year, Hill played in all 13 games and ran the ball 78 times. He rushed for a net total of 393 yards and two touchdowns but showed that he was capable and ready for significantly more this season.

Joe Moorhead has plenty of experience using versatile and talented running backs in his offenses. Kylin Hill isn’t Saquon Barkley, but he’s explosive and strong enough to be used in many of the same ways that Barkley was at Penn State.

Mississippi State fans should be excited about what Kylin Hill can bring to the table. His versatility and ability to catch passes in the open field will create more space for the offense to work in and give Fitzgerald yet another weapon to work with.
