Mississippi State Football Should Win The Egg Bowl In 2018

Mississippi State should have won the Egg Bowl in 2017. The Bulldogs were the better team. Mississippi State had more to play for. Dan Mullen had the opportunity to lead his team to a 9th win in the regular season and then a 10th win in the postseason.

However, Nick Fitzgerald’s ankle was crushed. Mississippi State fell by three points in the Egg Bowl. Dan Mullen skipped town and moved on.

But, 2018 is a new year. Joe Moorhead is leading the Bulldogs forward and has the opportunity to win his first Egg Bowl up in Oxford. His team is loaded with 20 seniors, 19 juniors, and 17 returning starters. Most importantly, the Bulldogs will have a dynamic offense and a team that can fully execute when called to do so.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are the better team coming into the 2018 season. The Mississippi State Bulldogs should be able to compete against the Southeastern Conference’s best throughout the 2018 season. And yes, the Mississippi State Bulldogs should win the Egg Bowl at the end of the 2018 season.
