Zach Neff And JP France Were Crucial For The Mississippi State Baseball Team Coming In As Graduate Transfers
Just as Cole Gordon was important for the Mississippi State Bulldogs coming out of the bullpen, Zach Neff and JP France were both crucial as well. And both of them arrived in Starkville as graduate transfers.
This year, Neff made 27 appearances for the Bulldogs. He threw for a total of 46.0 innings and holds a 3.52 ERA at the end of the year. Neff struck out a total of 41 opponents while only issuing 9 walks this year.
France was similarly effective throughout the season. Through 25 appearances and 59.2 innings pitched, France holds a 3.77 ERA. France has also struck out 65 batters this season and issued 26 walks through 2018.
Mississippi State definitely needed a boost to its bullpen coming into this year. That’s exactly what Neff and France provided this season.
