This Mississippi State baseball fan enjoyed his interview at the College World Series

KMTV News up in Omaha, Nebraska was just looking for a simple interview at the 2018 College World Series. That’s almost what they got.

Kinda.

KMTV News got something that resembled a simple interview with a Mississippi State baseball fan. However, that simple interview was actually the perfect sort of lighthearted joking that just about anyone and everyone can truly enjoy.

Yesterday, while the College World Series was battling every sort of weather delay issue possible, this interview was conducted. KMTV’s Megan Stewart wanted to talk to Terry Powell, a Mississippi State baseball fan in Omaha, about his trip up there.

Terry Powell took the opportunity he was given and ran with it. What followed was one of the best interviews I have ever seen.

In this interview, Terry Powell describes the, uhhh, “sacrifices” his family made so that Powell could get there to watch the Bulldogs. According to Powell, his family gave up a lot. That apparently includes his wife’s boyfriend’s prosthetic leg.

From Powell himself: “The sacrifices we personally made to get here are incredible. My wife’s boyfriend sold his prosthetic leg on craigslist to afford me the opportunity to be here.”

I reached out to Terry Powell to follow up on his now famous interview as the interview currently has over 146,000 views on facebook alone. However, he has yet to respond to my request.
