Mississippi State baseball’s Rowdey Jordan tied things up with Oklahoma
The bats for the Mississippi State baseball team have come alive lately. In the bottom of the 4th inning, the Bulldogs tied things up with the Oklahoma Sooners thanks to a powerful swing of Rowdey Jordan’s bat.
Earlier, Dustin Skelton hit a two-run shot of his own to spark Mississippi State’s comeback attempt. Rowdey Jordan followed right in his footsteps to get the Bulldogs tied up with the Sooners.
To get things going, Jake Mangum opened the inning up with a single into right field on the first pitch he saw. That put Rowdey Jordan at the plate with one runner on and nobody out in the bottom of the 4th. And Jordan took advantage of the opportunity that he saw in front of him.
After a lengthy at bat and a back and forth battle with Oklahoma’s Jake Irvin, Rowdey Jordan sent the ball over the fence, tying things up for the Mississippi State baseball team.

Mississippi State is continuing to pour things on and push ahead of the Oklahoma Sooners. Gary Henderson and the Bulldogs took Konnor Pilkington off of the mound and to replace him, they put Keegan James right on the mound.
Now, the Mississippi State baseball team must continue to push ahead of Oklahoma. This game has turned into a high scoring affair. Now, there’s no guarantee that pitching will become something dominant later in this game.

Instead, MSU must take advantage of every chance they are given to score in order to make sure that they can exit this game with a win. The Bulldogs must also hope that the bullpen can continue to do well stay fresh.
