Mississippi State Football Announces Game Times For Egg Bowl, Season Opener, And Other Games

Mississippi State football games have been officially scheduled!

We’ve got game times for four different Mississippi State football games in 2018! The upcoming season is approaching quickly and the Bulldogs have announced when they’ll play their season opener as well as the final game of the regular season.

Plus there’s also a couple games in between those two that have been announced.

As of right now, the Mississippi State football team already has three night games set for this season. The season opener against the Stephen F. Austin State University Lumberjacks will be on September 1st at 6:30 pm. The game will be aired on ESPNU.

The second game of the next Mississippi State football season will come against Kansas State in Manhattan, Kansas. That game will feature an 11:00 am kickoff but it will be shown on ESPN as their first game of the day.

And then there’s Mississippi State’s game against Louisiana-Lafayette. The Bulldogs will host the Ragin’ Cajuns on September 15th at 6:30 pm. This game will be on the SEC Network’s alternate channel.

Then, wrapping things up is Mississippi State’s rivalry game with Ole Miss, the Egg Bowl. This season, the Egg Bowl will be on Thanksgiving Night. On November 22nd, at 6:30, the Mississippi State football team will tangle with the Ole Miss Rebels.

The 2018 Mississippi State football season has everything it needs to be truly great. And we’re now getting the schedule for this season. Thankfully, the Bulldogs are getting the chance to play three of these games at night during times lots that will attract more attention.

The Bulldogs will get a chance to open the season strong. If they can survive the road trip to Kansas State, they’ll probably have a 3-0 start to the season. That can then set things up for a solid stretch through the rest of the year.
