How Many Sacks Will The Mississippi State Football Team Have In 2018?

Another season of Mississippi State football, another new defensive coordinator. However, the Bulldogs shouldn’t have any sort of questions at all when it comes to their defense. A large part of that is because of how loaded MSU is when it comes to pass rushers and strong defensive linemen.

Jeffery Simmons, Montez Sweat, and Gerri Green combined for 20.5 sacks last season. Now, the three of them are all back for 2018. And they’re going to be getting even more help in this upcoming football season.

Chauncey Rivers, Fletcher Adams, Marquiss Spencer, and so many more will have opportunities to step up this year and add to this defensive line. The Bulldogs could certainly, without a doubt, have one of the best defensive fronts in the Southeastern Conference next season.

So, how often are they going to get to the quarterback in 2018? How many sacks will this team force this football season?
