Mississippi State football is set up to succeed in 2018. But, a few questions still remain.

The 2018 Mississippi State football season can be the type of season that is seldom seen in Starkville, Mississippi. After Dan Mullen put the right pieces together (and then scrambled out of town) the Bulldogs have assembled the right team to see noteworthy amounts of success in the fall of 2018.

John Cohen hired Joe Moorhead to come in and carry the Mississippi State football program to the next level. Moorhead has seen success at every stop he’s made along the way throughout his college football coaching career.

He wants Starkville to be no different.

He’s already come in and discussed winning the Heisman with Nick Fitzgerald and then making the Bulldogs a championship caliber program.

With everything that Mississippi State has set and put together for this season, the Bulldogs should be solid this year.

In fact, they’re a team that could challenge for the SEC West if they get the right breaks.

But that doesn’t mean that questions don’t still linger about this team. Joe Moorhead hasn’t ever coached in the SEC before and Nick Fitzgerald’s injury was pretty nasty. There’s quite a few that could be addressed and discussed at length.

To help make things easy, I put together 18 questions that I have heading into the 2018 Mississippi State football season. Because, well, there’s questions that need answering.
