Will Mississippi State Baseball Make The SEC Tournament In 2018?

Will Mississippi State Baseball Get Into The SEC Tournament?
So, will MSU get into the SEC Tournament? I say yes, but it’ll be close.
Tennessee and Missouri are both slumping right now, but Mizzou is struggling just a bit more than the Vols are. Missouri has fallen in its previous three SEC series, including a sweep against Georgia. Tennessee recently took a series from the No. 13 Kentucky Wildcats.
This is a series that will be close and it will likely be frustrating to watch. But, if I had to guess, Tennessee will take two games this weekend.
At the moment, there’s not much reason to be too hopeful about Mississippi State’s chances of winning the series against Florida this weekend. Florida is an incredibly dominant team that has blown through opponents all season. Yes, MSU has taken some big series wins from Ole Miss and Arkansas, both of whom were ranked at No. 3 in the nation at that time.
However, that doesn’t mean that Mississippi State will take two from Florida. The Gators haven’t had much issue with anyone all year.

But, Mississippi State can take one game. And, right now, that’s all they need to make sure that they can keep playing. The Bulldogs will need to make sure that they do win if they want to be certain that they’re in the SEC Tournament once it starts.
