Mississippi State Football Can’t Host It These Weeks

If the Mississippi State football team is on the road, then SEC Nation won’t occur in Starkville, Mississippi. It’s simple math. Subtract Mississippi State from Starkville and there’s no reason for SEC Nation to arrive expecting Mississippi State to host SEC Nation for a Mississippi State football game.

Mississippi State has a total of five road games this year. Unfortunately, some of the most interesting games that the Bulldogs will compete in this upcoming season happens to be away from Starkville.

That’s not to say that MSU doesn’t have any interesting home games. The Bulldogs have quite a few of those. But, it does many that some fun matchups won’t be featured heavily with SEC Nation in town.

So, which weeks is Mississippi State out of town? That list is as follows.

  • September 8th, Mississippi State at Kansas State
  • September 22nd, Mississippi State at Kentucky
  • October 20th, Mississippi State at LSU
  • November 10th, Mississippi State at Alabama
  • November 22nd, Mississippi State at Ole Miss
