Mississippi State Baseball Should Be Able To Claim The Series From The Wildcats

The Mississippi State baseball team has proven to be a resilient bunch. The Bulldogs have played and won despite incredible adversity that was completely out of their control. And now, it looks like MSU has a solid shot at a regional.

Mississippi State will need to get through the Kentucky Wildcats and their home run hitters. But, if the Bulldogs’ pitchers can avoid making too many mistakes, this is a series that MSU can claim and come home with some momentum from.

Kentucky is looking to solidify their standings right now as well. Both teams are fighting for better seeding in the SEC Tournament and both could use a strong series win to help with that and also NCAA Tournament positioning.
