How Have MSU And Kentucky Performed Recently?

As was mentioned earlier, both teams are coming into this series with similar results in their most recent games. The Kentucky Wildcats has won 6 of their last 10 games while the Mississippi State Bulldogs have won 7 of their previous 10.

And both teams have won 3 of their last 5 games.

The biggest difference right now is that Mississippi State won its most recent series while Kentucky lost. Both of these series were on the road against inferior competition in the SEC, but MSU was the team that came out on top here.

The Bulldogs beat Alabama twice while Tennessee beat Kentucky twice. Not that this means much, but it does mean that MSU has a bit more momentum heading into Lexington. Can that help MSU claim two games while on the road?
