Cornerback

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are looking for something that resembles consistency and reliability at the cornerback position heading into the 2018 season. They’ll likely have three players that could earn starts at the spot this season.

Jamal Peters has been solid at times for the Bulldogs at cornerback. Peters is a talented athlete that could give the Bulldogs explosive plays from the secondary. Alongside him, both Chris Rayford and Cameron Dantzler are looking to make big impressions as well. Dantzler’s had a great spring showing, but Rayford has a bit more experience.

Others fighting for a shot to start include Maurice Smitherman, Marcus Murphy, and Korey Charles.
