Mississippi State football heads into the offseason after a productive spring

It’s officially the offseason now. Mississippi State football has gone through the first ever spring of the Joe Moorhead era and is now heading into the first summer of waiting for college football to get going of the Joe Moorhead era.

The roster for the 2018 Mississippi State football team is loaded with depth and experience. The Bulldogs are bringing back a roster with 20 seniors and 29 juniors. This is also a team that returns almost every single starter from a season ago.

But, they aren’t returning every single starter.

The roster has changed some. A group of MSU players graduated and left the program. The Mississippi State football team even saw a transfer happen fairly recently. Brandon Bryant, a longtime contributor for Mississippi State, left the university not that long ago.

And now, Joe Moorhead and Mississippi State must replace him. And, well, the Bulldogs have to replace a few other players too.

So, after a round of spring practices and a spring game, here’s some predictions as to what the Mississippi State football depth chart will look like heading into next season.
