Final Thoughts On The Series

Mississippi State could certainly use this series. Especially after how last weekend went for the Bulldogs. Getting beat in frustrating fashion by the Florida Gators isn’t any fun at all for anyone to experience.

And, well, MSU fell a bit in the SEC standings. Right now there’s a slight chance that MSU could continue to stumble and miss the SEC Tournament. It would take a lot of bad things to happen, but it could theoretically happen. That would be heartbreaking for a team with a ton of talent that has come so far this year.

The Bulldogs are a talented team. They’ll need to play like it this weekend when they meet up with South Carolina. I think the Bulldogs have a shot at taking two, but I unfortunately feel more comfortable saying that they’ll only win one this weekend.
