Unfortunately, This Series Isn’t At Nusz Park This Weekend

It’d be really nice if this softball series was played out in Starkville, Mississippi. But that’s just not how this is going to go.

The reason I say that is that the Mississippi State softball team is great at home. They’re not too shabby away from Starkville, but on their home turf, the Bulldogs are 23-8. That’s pretty good. But, unfortunately for MSU, South Carolina is good at defending their home territory too.

The Gamecocks hold a 21-2 record in Columbia, South Carolina this season. They’re 6-9 away from their home field. It would’ve been pretty nice to catch them in Starkville instead.
