Mississippi State softball is in Columbia, South Carolina for the weekend

Mississippi State softball has six more games left in the regular season. That’s it. Six. And three of them happen to be this weekend as Mississippi State softball hit the road to go play the South Carolina Gamecocks softball team.

This is, thankfully, the final road series for Vann Stuedeman and her softball team. The Bulldogs will return home to Nusz Park in Starkville next weekend. But for now, they’re playing South Carolina on the road.

Mississippi State softball, statistically, looks like a better team. The Bulldogs are hitting well and have some incredibly good pitchers.

But, MSU looked better than Texas A&M on paper and, well, the Bulldogs lost to the Aggies.

Now, Mississippi State softball has to find a way to get a few more wins as the season closes out. The Bulldogs want to make certain that they make the Southeastern Conference tournament. And, though they should, anything can happen in these final games.
