Joe Moorhead Will Likely Diversify How Mississippi State’s Passing Attack Works And It’ll Be A Joy To Watch

Mississippi State football lacked a dominant receiver in 2017. That crippled Mississippi State’s downfield passing attack and limited what the Bulldogs could do offensively throughout the season.

Joe Moorhead will have several golden opportunities to change that in 2018. But, he won’t have to totally rely upon his wide receivers to do that. Luckily for him, Moorhead will have the services of some talented and versatile running backs as well as a group of tight ends that haven’t been used enough.

If Moorhead can use Aeris Williams and Kylin Hill from the backfield in the passing game as well as Farrod Green and Justin Johnson at tight end, then he’ll have plenty of pass catching weapons to surround Nick Fitzgerald with this season.
