Mississippi State football should be special In 2018. Here are some thoughts on the matter.

Mississippi State football just wrapped up the spring game and with it, the entire spring football process. The Bulldogs put on a good showing that entertained fans while allowing younger players to get plenty of practice time to help with their progression and development.

But that’s finished now. So, what’s next?

Well, first a discussion starts with talking more about what 2018 will be like. Then, fans look at media projections and predictions. When doing that, they’ll either scoff at them or, well, enjoy them.

And right now, it’s not that far from SEC Media Days. That’ll be a blast to keep up with.

In all of that, we’re talking about 2018 will hold. For Mississippi State football, it should be something special. Joe Moorhead is a phenomenal coach that John Cohen brought in to take Mississippi State to that next level.

And, Moorhead has been talking pretty heavily about setting a championship standard.

The Bulldogs have a lot returning for the 2018 football season. And that gives fans a lot of hope. It give the coaching staff a lot to work with. On top of that, it gives the team plenty of reasons to succeed.

So, it’s time to start looking at 2018. As of right now, I’ve got 18 thoughts on the subject.
