IMV Gaming Announces New College Football Video Game
College football video games are back!
Well, almost.
IMV Gaming announced that they intend to release a new college football video game that they have been planning for a little while now. The release date is currently set for 2020 as they get the game finalized.
The game is called “Gridiron Champions” and it actually won’t feature any NCAA school. Literally every team that comes with the game will be, well, made up. However, the game appears to be incredibly customizable and will allow for fans to do what they wish with the teams. More than likely, that’ll result in something that pretty heavily resembles actual college football programs and rosters.

Fans will love that customizability.
But, while there currently aren’t any real teams present in the game, it does look like there is something that is almost Mississippi State University. Kinda. Mississippi A&M appears in much of their promotional art.
But it isn’t the Mississippi A&M Aggies that we’re talking about here. We’ve got the Mississippi A&M Raptors here. And though it isn’t technically a reference to Mississippi State, it’s close enough for me. For those that are completely unaware, Mississippi State was once known as Mississippi A&M. Albeit, that was a rather long time ago.
Regardless, IMV Gaming slipped Mississippi A&M into their upcoming game’s promo art. Which, you know, is pretty cool. Especially since Mississippi A&M is the number 1 team in their inaugural playoffs.
Regardless of whether or not Mississippi A&M actually ends up in their final production of the game, I think I can speak for everyone that misses college football video games when I say that it is great to have this game back.
