Can Mississippi State Baseball Win This Series?

Short answer? Yes.

Long answer? Absolutely the Bulldogs can. And Mississippi State baseball should come out victorious, hopefully at least twice this weekend. MSU has a team that can compete with Auburn, they just need to do it.

The Bulldogs are riding some solid momentum right now. They’re 4-1 in their last 5 games and are fresh of a series where they beat Ole Miss twice, with one of those games being an absolute blowout.

Auburn, on the other hand, is struggling. Like MSU, the Tigers are searching for answers and SEC wins. The Tigers have hit a rough patch that they didn’t expect to. And they don’t want to see it continue for much longer, I imagine.

Next: MSU Softball Takes On Ole Miss And The Bulldogs Could Certainly Win This Series

Mississippi State will need to be focused. The Bulldogs cannot let opportunities continue to pass them by. This is a great chance to get back into the midst of things with this season. Should MSU actually want to make things interesting, they’ll take a series from Auburn in their own stadium.
