Auburn Has Hit A Tough Slump Lately, That Bodes Well For Mississippi State Baseball

Mississippi State baseball has an even split of its last 10 games. The Bulldogs have won exactly 5 of their last 10 games. But, in that time, MSU is trending upward. The Bulldogs claimed 4 of their last 5 games, including two against then No. 3 Ole Miss.

In Mississippi State’s most recent game, they won by 9 runs. That’s not bad at all.

Auburn, on the other hand, hasn’t been as good as it has in the past. The Tigers have only won 3 of their last 10 games. They’re 1-4 through their last 5 contests. That one win was against Alabama A&M 10 days ago.

That means that the Tigers are currently on a 4 game losing streak. Auburn was swept by Arkansas and then lost their most recent game by 9 runs. That was to Samford.

That’s not exactly a stretch to be proud of.
